Description:
Chitosan, whose degree of polymerization is lower than 20, were obtained through the enzymatic degradation of chitosan, a natural polysaccharides which are combined with β-1, 4 of Glucosamine.
1. Food Grade: Antibacterial agent; Fruit and vegetable preservatives; Additives for health-care food; Clarifying agent for fruit juice.
2. Agriculture Grade: In agriculture, chitosan is typically used as a natural seed treatment and plant growth enhancer, and as an ecologically friendly biopesticide substance that boosts the innate ability of plants to defend themselves against fungal infections. As feed additives, can inhibit and kill the harmful bacterium, improve animals immunity.
3.Industrial Grade: Chitosan has good adsorption characteristics of heavy metal ion, applied in treatment of organic wastewater, dye wastewater, water purification and textile industry; Chitosan can be also applied in paper-making industry, improving the dry and wet strength of paper and surface printability.

Application Field:
1.Sewage treatment: Chitosan can treat suspended substances in sewage, adsorb certain heavy metal ions, etc., reduce BOD and COD of sewage, and chitosan can also be used in surface water treatment.
2.Petroleum Auxiliary: According to the characteristics of chitosan's macromolecule properties and amino positive charge, chitosan can also be used in the fields of petroleum exploitation and shale gas exploitation assistants.
3.Paper making: Special types of chitosan can be used as sizing agent, reinforcing agent, retention aid, etc. in paper making to increase paper strength and recover lost pulp.
